Colors used:
First, we painted the tile with the luster. The Lake Scene was done with pink luster and fired. ( 018-019 ) Start at the top for the sky with ruby. Load a big brush ( like a 3/4 inch one) with a heavy load. Paint the sky on a slant, as you don't want to go straight across. |
|
Then pick up some blue and continue to paint downward. Use a big brush and lots of color for a heavy load. Paint on a slant and wipe out some of the paint to bring out the pink luster. Smooth this so you don't have harsh lines. Come down with some yellow ,making variations in the sky. The mountains were painted black.Paint in some water using blue.Wipe out below the mountains for the shore line and paint the shore line white. Then I put in the trees. I did these in black , using a regular brush for the limbs, but a small, thin brush like a liner brush to stroke in the small leaves. This makes this type of tree natural looking, as they need to hang down to look natural. I wiped out a moon on this scene and painted white over the circle. Fire at 018. |
