Celeste's education in porcelain art began in 1983 under the wing of Sheilah Walker of Stinnett, Texas.  Since that time, Celeste has studied with many of the current masters of china painting.  She also paints in various media and has taken workshops in pastel and oils.  Celeste began teaching porcelain art in 1985.

She has taught both workshops and also at various Porcelain Art Schools such as Cazenovia PPAA School, Concan Porcelain Art Workshops, Southwest Pow Wow, and the Louisiana School. She also teaches online at the FREE Chatty Teachers & Artists forum at http://www.porcelainartist.proboards25.com

She has been guest artist at the California WOCP show, the Minnesota WOCP show, and has been traveling guest artist in New Mexico.

Her artist mission is to help generate as many porcelain teachers as she can in order to save this art for the future generations.
