About Cherryl Meggs:

This last year I finished up my duties as traveling teacher for Louisiana.
Memorial Artist for Dallas P.A.G.
And Workshop leader for North East Texas P.A.G.

I was elected 2nd. Vice President for IPAT.
Auction Chairman for The State Federation Porcelain Art Clubs of Texas.

Teaching at Concan again this year Roses, and will be the Master of Ceremonies and Firing person there.

I was feature artist in Florida in November at Daytona Beach, 2006.  My daughter went with me, she also paints! And loves to travel with Mom.

I belong to W.O.C.P. as a dealer member, S.F.P.A.C. of Texas, China Painting Teachers of Texas, Professional Porcelain Artists Assoc., I.P.A.T., Hill Country P.A.G, Kerrville Fine Arts Assoc., Highland Lakes P.A.C., Mexico Federation of Porcelain Clubs, and P.P.I.O., Wet Canvas and Chatty Teachers.

I have been painting now for 23 years, I have done numerous workshops of 20 or more in the class, and many seminars and schools.

Still teach weekly classes when time permits. My goal and emphasis is on the student learning the Principles and Elements of art, color theory and just what make a painting work, as well as how to paint the subject matter.

I will be teaching at the Beeville School at Bee County College and will be teaching at Cazenovia again this year.

Celeste McCall founded Chatty Teachers and asked me to come along. I am an administrator, owner with her. In this free website we can continue to teach and hopefully help those who don't have an access to a teacher or school.

I have a website now it is: CherrylMeggsstudio.com

I feel honored to be asked to come to Indiana, thank you so much for having me! I love what I do, teaching and sharing is what it is all about isn't it?

Thank you again for asking me.

Love,
Cherryl Meggs
